Portraits

 

Portraits are another one of my absolute loves. While I am creating them though there is often a bit of a love/hate relationship. There is a particular challenge that comes with creating a portrait. You must be faithful to the subject and viewers must recognise the figure that the portrait is of. The smallest change in hair, the way the mouth is held or intensity in the eyes can mean the difference between a good portrait and a great portrait.
